What is it?
The future is yours - it's time to break the rules!
This year's programme is all about giving young event professionals the platform and opportunity to tell us about the Why, the What, and the How of our industry's future. Together with mentors, the 35 young industry professionals develop the Agenda for the Future of Business Events.

When is it?
It starts with a mandatory evening welcome reception on Saturday at 18:00 and ends on Tuesday afternoon prior to IBTM World and ends on the show floor.

Where is it?
The FYP takes place in Barcelona. The venue is the Valkiria Hub Space.

Who attends?
Delegates are comprised of ICCA members (ranging from convention bureaus, venues, PCO, transport companies and meetings support) and associations, and are within the specified target group of less than 30 years of age and with 1 to 3 years of experience.

What is unique about the FYP?
We ensure that we select candidates from a wide range of demographics to be able to give the FYP a full spectrum of opinion and experiences. The programme encourages delegates to utilise their new network within the meetings industry by solidifying the client/supplier relationship and by taking advantage of the wealth of knowledge delivered by some of the most established meetings industry practitioners.
